Default From Chain Gang to Turbocharger

This isn't strictly a a Bristol book because it is an account of the history of AFN and the Aldington brothers. However, it includes information about the brief partnership between the Aldington brothers and Bristol at the time when they were trying to decide what type of cars to build. Indeed the Aldington brothers were inextricably linked with the very beginning of Bristol's venture into car manufacture.

The partnership didn't last long but the account of what happened is very interesting, particularly because it conflicts with the version of events as told by Bristol and authors such as LJK Setright.

From Chain Driver to Turbocharger was written by Denis Jenkinson and published by Guild Publishing in 1984/5. It is hard bound with 320 pages and many b&w images.

Essential reading for Bristol enthusiasts.
