Hi everyone. The time has come to find a new owner for my much-loved 405 drophead. Everyone here knows how rare they are. This was one of the last factory restorations back in the early 2000s. I bought it from Claude (thank you) and shipped it to the factory where Syd and Geoff worked their magic with some help from Paul's 405 with breathed-on engine. I've enjoyed it on all-too-rare occasions since bringing it to the USA. Competing priorities and the lack of enough opportunities to drive it is prompting the sale.
It's on sale through Bonhams at the Quail Lodge auction on Friday August 18th. Estimate $175 - $250k.
