No mention of Mr Stone in the 1970 BOC membership list but Gloucestershire makes sense as my father was in South Wales between 1974 and 1976 when he owned the car.
I remember the 406 being in really good condition when it was sold. I hope it has been looked after. A shame not to be registered for use on the road for so many years.
