Slightly strange message format...
Kevin,

I understand the need for a way to flag the reply part for the programme,
but I do feel one line would be sufficient - nothing needed at the
beginning,
and one line at the end of the "user reply" section.

That would definitely help! Appreciated!

There are reasons why the second line is necessary. Firstly it is quite important to have a end boundary to determine what the programme sees as the new message - it has to deal with a plethora of email clients with who knows what format. Secondly, given some people automatically add a signature to the end of their email messages, it means that this doesn't get included in the forum post, which is a good thing!
As for where the reply section appears, I will look into having it appear after the original message.

Kevin,
Yes, that is what I found "strange". I do understand why it's
there, and I guess I will get used to it! No real problem
now that I know that is how it is supposed to look like, but
it does make reading a bit cumbersome, as the real contents
of the message comes 15 lines down. Would not a simple
one-line terminator (such as "** Please type your reply
above this line **") be enough, so that there would only
be 1 line of non-message stuff in the beginning?

You may increase the space between the above lines as needed.

CURRENT MESSAGE FROM: Kevin Howard
Hi Julf,
That's the way it should look. There is however one small bug we need to iron out which is why the username of the poster isn't displayed, although this only affects the first post in a new thread, not subsequent replies.
The two dashed lines showing where you are supposed to type your reply exist so that the email integration system knows what to 'parse' and insert into the web forum. It will ignore anything which is not between the lines.
Is this what you were meaning about it looking strange?
Regards,
Kevin

Many thanks for the new forum, and especially thanks for trying to make
it fully e-mail-accessible! Receiving my first message from the list,
it still looks somewhat strange, see below.
Thanks and cheers,
Julf
