Default 403 dashboard lights

I'm sure that you have checked Peter, but if is of any use - I have a problem with the dashboard lights on my 403 also. Occasionally the lights go out for no apparent reason. The fault lies with the rheostat behind the ' L ' knob. A twirl of the knob and the lights come on again. Perhaps your rheostat has packed up completely. In my experience the rheostat is not needed anyway. A simple on / off switch would suffice.
