. . .but is it?
Having arrived doon sooth and having been for a wander through the West Cross Centre (looking at portable hard drives is my excuse), I popped round the corner to see what was happening at No. 19 Shield Drive. After all, those "It's all over" seemed unequivocal.
Housework, is the answer, but the most striking thing to my eye, in addition to the commodious service centre being packed, was the sheer variety of ages of Bristol there and the extremely high level of restoration of the older cars (mainly early V8s). Only one well-used specimen caught my eye.
If business is this good (with memories of Gunnersbury & Chiswick, it looked to the casual eye to be superior to that of many a decade), surely someone will come forward with the necessary finance to run it?
