Bristols forever!
Like the legendary Phoenix, the Bristol marque will be with us long after so many of these 'upstarts' have disappeared from the scene. The real difference is the people who buy and own Bristols. I have been an auto enthusiast most of my life, and have never seen the likes of the Bristol fans.
The one long message on another thread spells out what is taking place, and I have no doubt that we will see 'modernized' Bristols again, each hand made, one at a time ,for people who appreciate quality and tradition, rather than fads. Please understand that Bristol is not General Motors, Ford or Chrysler; even Jaguar or Aston-Martin. It is a small, specialist manufacturer (and that is a stretch to call it a manufacturer). It is best described as a tidy little shop catering to a small group of people. Were Bristol to make one car per week would be amazing, and the firm likely would take orders and put buyers on a waiting list, just like the 'old days'. Enough said.
