Bristol 401-85C engine

Looking for main bearings - 0.010 .Standard and 0.020 seem to be available but not 0.010 . Any guidance / suggestions?
Also need a new / replacement camshaft . Possible sources?

Undersize bearings for the engine

Sadly, you may just have to have the crankshaft turned down to the .020 size to get the bearings you need. This will cause no harm to the crankshaft. First though, I would MEASURE what I have before jumping to any conclusions. You see, with a car that old, the very thing may have taken place years ago, and without measuring the throws, you may have to consider something else. Check the main bearings too. Just a suggestion before making any sort of move.

Are we speaking about camshaft bearings or crankshaft bearings?

The inquiry was a little confusing. Many times replacement bearings are marked with their size on the backing, so check there too.

Camshaft questions- easy answer- need specialist

Camshafts may be built up and ground to any configuration you would like. No more expensive than a new one, especially since something like that would be quite rare, even in used condition.
