Well the 'previously registered 403BMD' (now OCD932?) is reported to have been red with beige interior and chassis number either 1490 or 1498.....??? Let us know if it is possible to see pictires of the car. P.S.: if it is blue, just buy it, the 403 is the best 2-Litre and blue suits her admirably (IMHO)

Cheers

Stefano

It may well be that with the car of the road for years that the number was "released" by the DVLC and was thus available and may well have been re-issued.

Why not ask them?

On past and current chassis lists 403BMD was listed as being in Southern Ireland latterly on a ZV registration, it could simply be that the car has reverted to its previous registration and had a colour change.
403BMD was listed as chassis 1490 with engine number as 100A 3005 but previously 100A 3186 some of these numbers will hopefully show up on the data plate on the bulkhead, drivers side RHD.
