Default B400 - gear box oil - modern equivalent

Yesterday the first ride over a distance with 100 miles happend. The weather was not hot but at the end there was a stop an go situation during several minutes. After that is was nearly impossible to shift the gears. After a break of oner hour the car returns to normal behavior. I don't know what kind of gear box oil is filled in.

What kind of oil is a good recommendation for my situation?
