Tosion-bar for B400
 

Guten Morgen,
I´m rebuilding a 400 in a rather unconventual way, Geoff Dowdle knows about.
Now I need a torsion-bar for the (special) front-suspension.
Does anyone know anybody to make a torsion-bar from (exact) sketch
as a "one off" to a reasonable prize?

400 antiroll bar
 

The 406 antiroll bar will fit exactly. You will only need to weld a small plate to the chassis under each side to fasten the mountings to.(chasis is quite thin there) It then bolts onto the suspension arms. Well worth doing, it worked for me.

Thanks, Stefan, for your advice to the anti-rollbar of the 406, but for several reasons I need a special one with other dimensions and bends.

Torsion bars, anti-sway bars....
 

We have several manufacturers over here that will do custom work if you have the specifications. The one that comes to mind is AADCO.

Any chance of a picture ? I have a 400 and a 406 anti roll bar so good to go :-)

Thanks, Greg, for the offer, but as I wrote I need special dimensions.
Meanwhile I bought the right steel bars, and I found the right local
workshops to bend and temper it.
When all is done I´ll send some pictures.
