Spartacus ,

There always seem to be a few of 400's for sale , of the 420 standard BAC bodied 400's made , plus a few special bodied cars .

Andrew Blow/ Wiltshire has 400 chassis 585 , that looks to be in nice condition

Walter Heale /West Sussex was advertising 400/561 a few months ago , it might be still available .

Joop Stoltze/Netherlands has 400/111 and 400/198 for sale , but I heard recently that 400/111 could have been sold .

James Rowland /Shropshire advertised 400/197 last year , I have not heard that it sold.

Historics at Brooklands are auctioning 400 chassis 178 on 30th August , that needs a major restoration

Where are you located ??

Prices of 400s have risen quite a bit the past few years , unrestored examples seem to bring up to GBP20k , while good ones bring GBP55 - 65k and nicely restored cars bring GBP85 - 90k .
The cost of correct restoration of a 400 is quite high , possibly GBP50 - 70k so be careful to check the condition thoroughly .

Come back to me if you need further details
