407 --- bonnet catch siezed
 

Hi there,

I have a newly arrived 407 with a seized bonnet release (the mechanism itself is jammed, the chord seems fine). Penetrating oil and shuggling the bonnet whilst pulling the lever have both failed.

It would be fantastic if some kind soul could post a photo of the mechanism in an open state, especially a closeup of how it is secured to the body. Any guidance before invasive surgery from below would be much appreciated :-)
