Watts Linkage - Part needed asap please.
 

Hi All

I am so pleased with my newly acquired 412 but it is off the road already!

Can anyone here please help me find a replacement for the cast alloy central connecting piece on the Watts Linkage that holds the diff steady laterally?

It is one of the parts made by/for Bristol rather than from another car and they don't have one at the moment.

I can get it collected from most places, really wanted it for the weekend as planned a run out to the event in Stamford.

Accs in Kings Cross -- martin Barnes - his details are on this site. Or ask Bristol cars to take one off a scrap car ! Most V8's will be the same

That's really bad luck. Unfortunately there is no published parts list for the 412 but it's probably very similar, if not the same as the 410.

Is it item #13 in this diagram?

Yes, it is item number 13 (appropriately enough!) on the diagram.

The guys at Bristol were very nice but do not have one, new or used, at the moment.
