411 metal sliding sunroof
 

My 1973 411 S3 has a metal sliding sunroof. The car roof has the 'Concord's nose cone' material finish, including on the sliding roof, so I think it was probably a factory fit.
Does anyone know what manufacturer it would be please?

For the avoidance of doubt, I need info about the makers of the sliding roof, not the makers of the roof covering!

Webasto seems to be the most likely candidate. They’re a German firm but have an outlet in the uk and are still in the business. I had some correspondence with them a few years back relating to one of their folding roofs and found them very helpful. I’d suggest trying the uk operation in the first instance.

In My 411 S5 the metal sliding roof is a Webasto/Hollandia unit. Sealing strips for this roof are availabe in Australia from:
