Excellent review. I think the description of an english gentleman as
a 'brute in a suit' is pretty accurate as is it's application to the
Fighter. I was a passenger in a Fighter very very briefly and it is
something of an experience. It was quiet and docile until power was
requested. There wasn't an overstrung whine, more a distant low base
roar as it delivered a tsunami of power. It was very planted and
unlike a lot of cars that rely on sound and fury to tell you they
are going fast the Fighter just does performs and you just know it
isn't even trying. Pulling up was an experience in negative G that
you don't get at Disney.

When I was dropped off at the local shopping Mall (I go to all the
most glamorous destinations), I stepped out to the open mouths from
the people standing around. Everyone seemed to know what it was, and
there was universal approval. Which isn't the normal reaction to
status cars. If I win the lottery I want one, if it is a really big
win I might get Mrs Wilson one too. It seems a Bristol is always
acceptable, which alone is a great reason for driving one.
