Radiator Cap on 412

Can anyone recommend a readily available radiator cap for the 412. This is the blanking cap on top of the radiator and not the pressure cap on the expansion chamber, which is readily available in North America.

Thanks,

Peter

I had a similar problem with my 411.
I put a '13 lb' radiator cap on the expansion tank, and a '16 lb' radiator cap on the radiator.
STANT (spelling???) was the make.

No more problem.

Thanks John,
My concern with that solution is that it does not permit the radiator to recover the expelled fluid when the engine cools.

I have a temporary solution with an epdm membrane glued over the existing rubber inside the cap. I understand that the cap is the same as the MGC and these are available in Australia.

Vulcanised EPDM rubber is a good solution for gaskets in contact with hot
water, so a good choice.
I can't comment about the mechanical situation of course in general.
With best regards,
Andrew Knox.
