Starter motor
Mine is now fitted and I must say it is superb, the difference in "spin
rate" makes it sound very modern but has far less drain on the battery. It was well worth the exercise, I am very grateful for all the help I had from Dave Taylor and Greg. So I now have a 407 which starts like a dream, does not overheat, pumps it fuel up electronically it also has a dual point distributor ( obtained from Martin Barns at ACCS), now get 18/19 to the gallon, result! |

Starter Motor Description
Starter "Bristol" part number 2095150 seems to be a Mopar part
number, common to several engine families over many years. Wouldn't it be a great help to all V-8 owners to verify or cross-reference all engine parts to Mopar part numbers? Of course, this may challenge some mythologies. |

That's what BODA is for !!
I think the different Bristol sites / clubs all have their uses. In my opinion BODA is the best for parts advise. This is currently the best general discussion forum and BOC is great for individual car data. I guess we are very lucky ? Greg |
