Has anyone ever made a more secure locking arrangement for the wing bays on a V8 to replace the "T" key system ?

Maybe something like this in chrome ?

Might have to be something with a cover over the key hole, after all they are in a vulnerable position so far as being peppered with road dirt is concerned.

Has anyone ever had anyone tamper with their wing bays?

In my experience the only people who know the wing bays even exist are Bristol owners.

Probably not - but the "T" key is bulky on my key ring and uncomfortable in my pocket :-)

The battery location is a thief's dream but never heard of one going missing

I have drink optics installed instead of a spare wheel in the other cupboard and it has made a superb cocktail cabinet. Mirror tiles help the effect.

I have a holster for my T key. Garners lot of admiring looks.

The T-hey makes for a superb addition in a bar fight.

Never had anybody tamper with my wing compartements.
Not much there any sensible thief wants anyway....
