E58
FYI: If the 412 series 2 is fitted with the Chrysler E58 360 engine, then it would have produced in the region of 220bhp, a drop of some 40-50bhp from the E64 400 used in the series 1. The E57 360 produced 170bhp.
The E57 is distinguished by having a twin-barrel carburetor and single exhaust, as opposed to the E58, which has a four-barrel and twin exhausts.
It was my understanding that Bristol used the E58 in the 603S and 412S2, although I could be wrong. The figures quoted are net.
