Most people wouldn't. But most people don't want to waste their time either. I can only assume you have no experience in selling secondhand cars to the public, because to expect people to just come and have a look without asking any questions first, is absurd.

It may be I am barking up the wrong tree in relation to standard op procedure for selling a bristol.
Are you talking about Tony Crook's standard operating procedure, or that of the rest of the world? (They do differ somewhat.)

As for this guy's comments "does it have clear title", what is that supposed to mean?
To be honest, it was just to get a rise out of you. Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

I've had enough of this... ...As I said, Crook wouldn't have entertained any of this.
I'm sure he wouldn't.

Delete me from your list; somebody can still come if they wish through the comms channels you have.
You're not on a "list". You joined the Bristol Enthusiasts discussion forum. I have unsubscribed you from this thread, so you shouldn't get any more email notifications if anyone else responds. You will however still receive an email if someone sends you a private message about the car - that's the only "comms channel" available since you didn't provide a phone number.

Over and out!
