I recently collected my car back from my mechanic after having the auto transmission rebuilt which included having the part throttle kick down reactivated. He described the removal and replacement of the transmission as an 11 out of 10 level of difficulty. I asked him about the idea of a Gearvendors overdrive being fitted. His advice, just forget it, there just isnt enough room.

I took the opportunity at this time to have the motor pulled out to fix all the oil leaks, fit a brighter camshaft and electronic ignition. This all added up to a substantial bill but the work has transformed the car . The auto changes beautifully the kick down likewise and the motor starts and runs just as well.

ELCO based in Melbourne did the work, all they do is Chryslers and what they dont know about them isnt worth knowing.
