Probably a careless previous owner damaged the original engine ! :-)

How Young do Bristols need to be to import to the USA ?

My understanding, bolstered by my one recent experience, is that cars at least 25 years old come in here duty-free, and do not have to meet our new-car build and emission standards.

This came from Toby, who has brought in several cars, and assisted me with my importation.

Anything is possible I suppose. I used to own this car when it was red, it is a hoot to drive
