I used DOT 4 in UK, but here I switched to DOT 5.1. Higher boiling point, but the same base chemistry.
It was not easy to source.

They are rare.
Of course I could have missed a few "modern" ones, as the design is - let us say - very discreet.

Ask Pilkington how long they have made the 411 screen. You will be told 7 or 8 years.
And they used a 411s5 screen to get the shape etc.

So my Bristol has failed its MOT ( road worthiness testing) due to a holed exhaust and a leaking diff.
The diff should not be too diff-icult to fix ;) but the exhaust is another thing.

I find the light output superb on the 7 inch Halogen lamps. I would not replace them with any other tech.

Fully agree with Claude. After sitting for 7 years, you need to check through all systems, like electrical, hydraulic etc, replace all fluids ( brakes, engine oil, powesvsteering, gearbox oil etc)...

I did have the tank cleaned out recently due to lots of debris. Guess some of the debris could have lodged in the sender unit?

My 411 S5 seems to be suffering from a dead fuel sensor/sender unit.
Testing of the gauge tests positive, etc.
Does anybody know if there is a "generic" unit made?
