404 Chassis Plate

Hello,

I was going through some old stuff of a relatives and found a chassis plate from a 404/x.

Serial Number: 5831

Anyone know the car? Missing the Plate? Know any history as to where it could have possibly originated?

5831 refers to the body number from Bertone. As in the Series AR-BR /5831/L. This is a deluxe with a Bristol Chassis number of 404X-3030 sold originally to Walter H White in Glenview. It was Black with a white leather interior. The car is now in the UK.

Thanks for responding! Interesting information. Is there anyway to contact the current owner to see if they would like the plate back. Not sure why it was pulled off the car..
