rim bands for Bristol wheels

I recently took the old tires off about 8 Bristol wheels. There were no rim bands protecting the innertube from the wheel rivets. Is this normal and if I want to use rim bands can anyone suggest a type. Thanks. Peter

The rim bands are available from Motor Wheel Service and Vintage Tyres in UK, as well from the Borrani agent in US and from Borrani in Italy.
