Question: Brake parts for 401
Hi there,
Has anyone got any advice about buying brake system parts for a 401? I think I need a full set of cylinders.
Should I just go to Bristol Cars?
Thanks
Daniel

401 brakes
I don't know about 401s, but the 404 brake parts are the same as Jaguar XK120. I bought mine at Moss Motors in Goleta,CA

Brake Parts for a 401 are relatively common and Brake Specialists usually have them and they are often on EBAY as well.

New or repair?
If you have parts missing on a refurb then Bristol (perhaps the club) should be able to supply, but a decent brake specialist can resleeve cylinders, make up pipes, provide banjos, unions etc.
