Default Enots lubrocharger

I am in the process of putting a 405 back on the road and hope someone on here has experience of the lubrocharger. I have built one good pump from two and fitted lip seals. It seems to work well. The distribution unit, 6 way, is not as in the manual but has rubber seals instead of the little shuttles. What appears to happen is that they move forward to let oil into the chambers but do not return to allow the oil out into the trunnions etc. The seals look o.k. but may be too hard. Any ideas please?

I found a link to some Boda Info re the system on the Arnolt but the link won't work so can't share it on the forum.
