Default 401 Front suspension gaitors

Does any one have any photos they can share with me regarding how the leather gaitors for the front suspension spring ends and leaves are correctly fitted. Bristol part numbers 422051, 422011, 421941.
I also notice that the spring end gaitors have different part numbers for the RHS and LHS - can anyone one tell me why?

zbigmak,
It surprises me you have not had a reply to your post.

When my 400 goes on the hoist next (probably later this week)I'll take some photos for you.
I think the difference between LH & RH spring end gaiter is probably the position of the fixing of the leather strap .

There is a fourth and fifth different gaiter N422072 for RH & N422102 for LH , covering the joint of the top wishbone and the kingpin .

Do you need/want a set, as I COULD have a spare set I don't need.

Geoff

Geoff
thank you very much. I purchased a set of gaiters several years ago from the Bristol Car Club in Australia. Try as I may I could not find any in the UK.
If I remember correctly the postage cost me more than the actual gaiters themselves.
From memory I have 4 in total - 2 large ones and 2 small ones which I assume go on kingpins.
The large ones seem to be pretty evident (there is a picture in the 401 workshop manual) which show the laces facing downwards.
The smaller ones I have to admit I have no idea how they should be fitted.
Any pics would be gratefully appreciated.
George

Well for those interested I have finally dug out the leather gators and have found that there are in fact 6 in total.
Now I am struggling to see how they fit on the car.
Ideas, photos or guidance welcome.
George
