Default Colour of 2 litre block

What paint is used for 2 litre blocks to match the original? If it makes any difference, mine is a 100A engine.

This isn't any help, but out of interest I decided that Austin-Healey engine green looks really nice so that's what I've used. The original Bristol colour was similar, but rather more towards a light brown than a light green

I was going through my printed copy of the old BOC WIKI and came across some notes I had added that the original engine paint was Speedcote 2 French Grey BS 3630, searching this on google brought me to a page on Stefano Pasini's site of the restoration of my old 403 which is no doubt where I first noted it down from and his source of information was Derek Hughes another long term owner.
Geoff.

Yes, when my engine was painted the restorer used the BMC green, as used on their engines, as the closest match
