Default Just bought my first Bristol project :-)

After a decade I just bought a 403 with no engine or gearbox, an engine block with guts and a head and a gearbox - let the fun begin- picking up next week!!

So what have I got
Engine number 1753C
Head number 1905
Gearbox numbers n4500nc and wmg44

Head appears to have new valves in it??
Block appears to be welded

Are you John ??

The head 1905 was originally fitted to 401 chassis 996
The block 1753C was originally fitted to 401 chassis 691

Did you buy these from the Brian May auction ?

Could you please advise the chassis number of your 403 and post a photo of it on this Forum .

I will post more when I pick it up but basically it’s missing all the engine ancillaries and connecting stuff and push rods/rocker covers/mounts rocker covers engine needs rebuilding etc.

Car is up north apparently it’s known to the club?

I'm about to rebuild a similar engine so getting back up to date on prices and availability of parts.
