400 wipers

I need to source some new wiper blades for my 400 and it occurred to me that there must be a 7 inch blade that is common to many vehicles of probably the 50’s. Any suggestions?

I don’t know the fitting requirements for the wipers on a 400 but have you looked on eBay?
Search:- Morgan /Caterham Wiper Blade 6” Or 7”. For Plus 4 4/4 . Roadster and Plus 8.
They are quoted at £10.00 each plus delivery

Ralph,
I bought two sets of Wiper arms and blades from Paul Beck Vintage parts.

From memory I chose longer blades which are easily trimmed to suit the screen .
There are a few different arms available .
What type of arms do you currently have fitted, as this will determine the type of blades to buy regardless of length?

The arms are what I take to be are 5mm wide bayonets that click into the blade. The Morgan ones look a bargain but have a more modern blade arrangement which I guess gives a better contact. Mine are a very simple straight metal strip with a single rubber insert. Pretty rubbish actually as when I drove 120 miles across Salisbury Plain and it poured I had to guess where I was going! All very interesting.
