I've looked at some pictures and now see the aluminium lidded box, mine is now a lidless cavity. Were the tools held in the box in a leather roll or fitted trays? Would still really appreciate some photos.

I didn't but I know that many people are struggling to find original
tools including the special head nut spanner and the brake bleed on as
well.

Clifford if you email me direct via my website I'll take you all the
photos you need and provide details. My car is immaculate, totally
rebuilt and original. The tool tray is a wooden block with
holes ,milled out that the spanners fit in.

Greg, thanks for the offer. However on inspection I find that I need the entire tool box not just the lid. If I cannot find one then I guess I'll have a go a making one...so may well come back to you.
