Article in the BOC Bulletin
Hi all -
Ironic perhaps that the first message would refer to the BOC, but there's a highly technical and very good (partly guessing, because some of it strains my understanding) article in the recent Bulletin #136. It's "Cam, Cam Timing and Valve Train for the Bristol 100D" by Peter Stanwicks. I don't recall anything comparable since I starting getting the Bulletin about 10 years ago. Bob |

Article in the BOC Bulletin
Perhaps someone could scan it and upload it to this site in the
resource section for 6 cyl cars. My belief is that it is for the greater good that such information is in the public domain (which is the main driver behind this site). |

Providing technical information
With help from Geoff Dowdle in Australia and experience gleaned from a total rebuild of my 400, I've had a website designed www.jel450.com that provides a wealth of technical information as well as links to anything I can find that might interest owners of the earlier Bristols, BMWs and related sports cars. It's been up for a year or two now and has between 200 and 350 uniques a day.
We also organise a gentle tour to some part of North Western France each year and are joined by people from all over the world. All are welcome so please get in touch if it's of interest. A link to this forum will appear shortly! I do hope it's a success. Ashley James www.kda132.com and www.jel450.com |
