408 auctioned in Melbourne, Australia
There was what appeared to be a basket case of a 408 auctioned at Melbourne this weekend at the annual Motorclassica event - see attached photos.
Given the sorry state of this car, which didn't even appear to be complete, I thought the price it fetched was very good, for the seller - AUD$12,375
It's only saving grace was the leather upholstery appeared to be in very good condition.
