Default Routing of Park cable on 408 MkII and 409?

The shift cable on my 408 MkI goes out of the firewall, down and then across the car attached to the top front edge of the firewall ledge that the heater sits on.. Then it curves out and down before going back under the car in the transmission tunnel on the left side of the TorqueFlite.. Does the separate park cable on the MkII and the 409 follow the same path?

I ask as my MkI has a later aluminium/aluminum case TorqueFlite with the necessary hardware for the park sprag/pawl.. I have a suitable pushbutton shifter with the park lever and am exploring how hard it will be to fit it and have the park function.

Thanks for any help.

Never mind. It's been answered elsewhere and yes, the park cable follows same path as the shift cable.
