Bristol 411 Wheels
Hi,
Does anyone out there happen to know the pitch circle diameter and the back spacing for the wheels on a Bristol Series 2 411? The reason I would like to know is that I would quite like to put wire wheels on the Bristol. MWS ( www.mwsint.com) produce a 6.5x 15 wire wheel (model XW791) which fits XJ Jags from1968 on. It has a 5 stud bolt-on kit. The PCD is 120.65 mm and the rim backspace is 127.00mm. I think it might just fit the Bristol but I'm not sure. I have never seen a 411 with wire wheels and I think it would look great and suit the "sports" saloon character of the car. Any information gratefully received, Tim. |

The PCD of the 411 is NOT 112mm like the 408 and earlier types .
It is the same a Jaguar XJ of the 70's, I'm not sure of the imperial measurement , but definitely not metric. Geoff Dowdle |

Sorry Geoff, I was just thinking of the 408. I had forgotten about the information that you provided for the B.O.C. Wiki -- I think that wire wheels for a Jaguar ?
