Default Progress on 411 and Side Indicators question

For those interested in following the restoration see Home - The Bristol 411.

We have engine running, welding nearly finished, woodwork ready to install and my target is to get her to the BOC concours at Greenwich on 21st August.

I am looking at changing the side indicators from the boxy unattractive Lucas plastic XJS style ones to the more elegant teardrop ones seem on the earlier models and on the S6 I saw in the Bristol showroom last month. Can anyone tell me where I can source them from please...

Default Those 'teardrop' side running lights

I have a set of those, and they came with my replica kit for the Ferrari GTO. They are apparently quite rare. There is the name 'Altissimo' moulded in the lens. Quite elegant. I have no spares.

Default Tear Drop Lenses 411 Mk 2

The Lens You Speak Of Is Available Through "holden" Seems To Be New Old Stock. I Dont Think They Have The Bases . I Purchased A Spare Set For My 411 Mk 2 .

Why Change The Originality Of You Series 3 ? But If You Must I Con Probably Find A Set Of Second Hand Bases For You

The Ones For The Replica Gto I Think Are Similar But Not The Same As The Ones On The Bristol Are A Lucas Product

Try this site for some of the items you require.
I have a 411-7526 and have purchased some small items - very satisfactory.
Holden Vintage and Classic Lucas Car Spare Parts and Accessories from the UK
Good luck -

I understand your point but on the basis that the S6 models from the factory carry these, I thought it OK - I also think they look better than the boxy ones on it at present. Any help regarding sourcing them would be much appreciated.
