Events / Calendar?

Kevin,

I filled out a future event on the events page but have no idea how to get
it to the whole forum,

Please could you help me or do it for me.

The date is 14th September and it duly appears if I click on that date.

Perhaps it has gone out as I do not seem to receive email copies of my own
postings.

Please help this one legged old git!

Nick,
It appears that you successfully posted the even in the calendar, however as the calendar is not a 'forum' per se, it does not send out a message to members.

I think someone has already copied your calendar item into the Bristol News forum, which will send out to all who are subscribed to that forum (which is hopefully most people).

PS. I moved your question about using the calendar into the 'About this site' forum, which is where it belongs
