Default The New Book

Ladies and Gentlemen

The new book: "The Bristol Owners Car Book" is now active and open for business.

Author is: Bristol Stewards

The ISBN is 9781438298979 for the B&W version and 9781438299877 for the colour.

The book is being published in the USA by a New Zealand charitable trust, The Bristol Stewards Foundation, to be incorporated shortly. Chris & Peter, may I invite you to become fellow trustees? Chris, you will recognise the form, compliments of a meeting you and I had in 1998!

The book has 250 pages, and is priced at US$6.42 for the B&W version, and $30.58 for the full colour edition on Amazon. This price is a non-profit price, so we do not have to maintain a bank account. It is paperback, with a full colour cover and 250 pages inside that are greyscale on the $6 book and full colour on the $30 book. I took the liberty of doing this today, because ending today, the Pro-Upgrade ($40) is waived, so the whole exercise has been free.

The only thing missing at this time is the text and images in the book. At present it has a blank format taken from a standard developed by my publishing company.

Respectfully put forward

Claude

Default The New Book

Hi Claude

Thanks, I'm not sure I am fully aware of the role and responsibilities of a
trustee, but let's talk it through with Chris.

In the meantime, happy to be the port of call for artwork and design (with
some sort of approvals process and cap agreed to).

I would also like us to consider splitting the project up into publishable
(ie those articles contributing to the aims of the first book) and
unpublishable (those articles that are worthy but not meet the aims of the
first book). There is no reason why we can't create smaller books, I guess,
that are pdf only.

I think it sounds fun.

Cheers

P
