Default Classic Car Registration Numbers

For those who may need to know where their car was originally registered, or
have had previous cars, this site may be the answer.

Car registration letter codes 1900-1972

Always thought our 401 [MXF 682] was from London, but appears to have been 1st
registered in Torbay, Devon.

Seasons Greetings

Default Classic Car Registrations

Since my posting I have been informed the site originally recommended is not entirely correct and would suggest this one below.

The site ;- www.wolfbane. com/vreg. htm does in fact show London as 1st Registered place for 'MXF 682' and confirms my initial belief.

Sorry for passing duff info. on, just shows how easily we can be drawn in to spread errors.

Have informed my original source of his error and suggested the better site above would be more appropriate.

Regards

Michael
