All -

Sorry, I'm not in OZ, but have been following the Herdman's around-the-world journey and received an email from Geoffrey earlier this week. He should be in Sydney this weekend (right now).

In November, they came through Los Angeles and stopped by a car show and our house - what an adventure! It only got better through Mexico and South America.

Their trip included New Zealand, but without the Bristol and Geoffrey called after visiting Lane Smytheman in Auckland.

My much more limited journey this year was a "Mille Miglia" distance in New Zealand in my Mille Miglia: Frazer Nash Mille Miglia in New Zealand, February 2011

Default The Herdmans and the 405DH in South Oz with friends

Hi All,

Yes we are in South Australia and enjoyed a pleasant drive to the southern vales with the Heardmans for a splendid lunch. Jo and I in our 405 lead the convoy of the 2 X 405 DHC and the 404 from Belair through the Adelaide Hills via Coromandel Valley, Clarendon, Kangarilla to Mclaren Flat, which is in the Southern Vales wine region. Where we met up with Paul Vivian 400 and John Holloway 401 for lunch at the Currant Shed, which is part of the Hoffmans Winery - A great Lunch for 20 Bristolians.

Cheers

Peter
