- Biography
- I've been in the car business since the mid-'70s. I was a technician for many years (we used to call them "mechanics"). My first job was in an independent repair shop in Manhattan Beach, California that handled mostly English cars. I went to a Volvo dealer after that, and then went to work for the Alfa Romeo distributor here in SoCal. I went to the independents again, first to an Alfa repair shop and then to a restoration shop. Then I went to Mazda for a year two as a technical writer and following that to American Honda where I have been a writer, trainer, instructional designer and more. I enjoy photography. I have a few cars on my photography website. I also write for the auto industry newspaper Parts&People.
