Default Can someone identify this AB?

This Arnolt Bristol is on the cover of the Haybale April 27, 1957 for the Inaugural Race at Lime Rock. Can anyone identify the car? It is not listed as being raced yet it is on the cover. This info is from etceterini.com and the list of drivers has the inaugural date as August to further confuse the issue. The date was in fact April. Any ideas?

Sometimes the obvious escapes us. Thank goodness for the level headed input of reason brought to us by John Simmons who pointed out:

It's an interesting question as to which car is on the program cover. Identification might be possible with much research, but not very likely, at least in the short term, unless someone who knows the car (like the owner at that time) steps up.

It does make sense to me that the car on the cover is not listed on the program, and that it was not entered in this event. This because it could not be a picture of the race that the program was for, since the program was printed before the race. So, they just used a file photo from some other race (and it would even be a different track, if this program was for the inaugural race at the Lime Rock track).

Still wonder why the race list had the date of August 28, 1957 on it though instead of April 27-28 1957. Typo? Wrong list?
