Problem is of course you have to sign up to a 24 month plan with a phone company with outrageous data charges to have an iPhone in the first place.

I read today that Apple have the means to remotely remove software from your iPhone! They say it's something they hope they never have to do, but claim it would be irresponsible of them not to build in the ability to do so.

I suspect all phone companies have, however that doesn't apply to
the Touch which is a piece of genius on it's own. It's amazingly
clever and versatile.
