Fire damaged Bristol 411 for sale
Hello All,
Currently up for auction is a 1972 Bristol 411. This car has suffered what looks like quite considerably fire damage to the engine bay, with a degree of front end body damage. According to the details it will come with a private registration plate, whatever that might be! The opening/starting bid is set at £21250.00, presumably plus commission at 6%. Anyone interested, please cut and paste the follow the link:- https://auctions.synetiq.co.uk/aucti...-saloon/428413 Brian |

411 S3
The car was originally on plate TYY533L but given a private plate JIW 363.
This splendid looking car was an LPG conversion and I wonder if that led to the fire. Alternatively E10 can perish fuel lines on older models as I know of a Triumph that was burnt out as a result of a fuel leak. Worth replacing the fuel hoses with E10 resistant ones if in doubt. The front grille has been bashed in upside down and this is the second 411 that the scrapyard has had in the past 3 years. I do hope someone will save this car...... Brian (different one!)
