I'm pleased to say that the new owner has contacted me and we will be keeping in touch.

He reassures me that the car will be restored and the engine will not be going into an Ace or F/N.

As a previous Bristol owner for 13 years, I'm thrilled that the car is going to a good home and I'm sure that he will achieve more than I did with it.
