Default SOCATA Minerva for sale - belongs to Tony Crook

This one is for aviators and collectors of Bristol ephemera! Tony Crook has been advertising his aircraft for sale in Flyer magazine. With a new engine and prop, IFR equipped, it will get you in and out of the shortest fields imaginable, second only to a helicopter in this regard. It even has ' Bristol Cars' painted on the fin. He once told me he had done more take offs and landings at Filton airport than anyone else!

The advert did not say, the aircraft has been languishing at the back of a hangar at White Waltham for some years, I guess he has had it spruced up since then, with new C of A. The avionics are probably quite old and the paintwork is faded. I always liked these aircraft and once toyed with the idea of buying G-AVIN, it was going cheap but was one of the low powered versions!
