If it works like my 408 seems to, the fuel pump is either the original mechanical at the front of the engine block or will have been replaced by an electric fuel pump elsewhere, usually in the boot...

I rebuilt the front end last year but the rear driver side was still low. Today I did adjust the torsion bar to the right hand rear...

What wood veneer in 408?

The two pieces of veneered wood between the dash and the front edges of the doors need refinishing. The veneers are cracked and chipped. Can anyone tell me what wood Bristol used, please?

Can't answer your questions but you should also check that hub bore is correct diameter for your car and that the lug nut shape where they snug up tight to the wheel is a match.

Fortunately for me, I have two local gas stations that sell ethanol-free 89 Octane gasoline. My 408 has a 1978 360 installed and runs well on this stuff.

I added power steering to my RHD 408

When I did the recent rebuild of the front suspension on my 408, I opted to add power steering. The low speed manoeuvering effort required without it was doable but not fun.
